Select the opening experience
Discuss lid-and-base, drawer or hinged presentation formats according to your product and the experience you want to create. A reference photo is useful, but the preferred closure, lid depth and ease of opening should be described explicitly. The same outside appearance can hide very different construction details.
Plan the insert around the product
An insert needs to position the product securely without making removal awkward. Share the actual item dimensions and weight, the surfaces that should avoid contact, and any accessories included in the box. Material and lining choices need to be reviewed against fit and handling requirements.
Balance presentation with storage and shipping
An assembled rigid box occupies space before and after packing. Ask the supplier to state packing quantities and carton dimensions when transport or warehouse space matters. If a collapsible format is being considered, confirm the assembly process and inspect a sample rather than assuming all rigid structures pack flat.
Review wrap finish and alignment
Paper texture, printed color and decorative details need to work across corners, edges and separate box components. Define where logos sit and how the lid and base should align. Sample review should include closure, visible seams, insert fit and the finish under the intended viewing conditions.
Questions before you order.
Are rigid boxes suitable for mailing without outer protection?
A presentation box should not automatically be treated as transit packaging. Share your shipping route so suitable outer protection can be discussed.
Can several items share one rigid gift box?
Yes, this can be reviewed as a set. Supply the dimensions, arrangement and removal requirements for every component.
Can you match an existing box?
An existing sample can guide specifications. Color, material and structural matching must be assessed rather than guaranteed from a photo alone.
How are price and schedule confirmed?
They are quoted for the agreed construction, material, finishing, quantity and destination. Confirm sampling and approval stages before planning a launch.
